HINTON TWP. -- An investigation is underway in Mecosta County after a hunter was found shot dead in his deer blind.

The 26-year-old Hinton Township man's body was discovered just before 7:00 Wednesday night near 2 Mile Road and 85th Avenue.

Right now investigators say the gunshot was fired by the man's brother, a 23-year-old who was hunting nearby. The incident remains under investigation.
