CRYSTAL LAKE TWP. -- UPDATE: The State Fire Marshall will be back at the home Thursday to continue his investigation into the cause of the fatal fire.

Three family members are dead after a house fire in Benzie County.

Fire crews were called to the home on Pautz Road in Crystal Lake Twp. around 7:38 a.m. Wednesday.  The home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.

The State Fire Marshall will be at the home Wednesday afternoon to investigate the cause.

The Benzie Co. Sheriff tells 7&4 News the three victims of the fire appear to be Chris Luedtke, his wife Linda, and the couple's 17-year-old son. The identities of the victims cannot be certain until autopsies are performed.

The home was the base for Luedtke Construction.
