TRAVERSE CITY -- When you head to the poll tomorrow in Traverse City, you will not see the name Chris Bzdok on the ballot.

The current Mayor of Traverse City announced earlier this year that he will not be running for re-election.  Tuesday night his fellow commissioners celebrated his term as mayor, thanking him for 2 years of hard work.

7&4's Kate Fox caught with Bzdok before his last meeting and he shared some details regarding his time as Mayor.  

Mayor Chris Bzdok says he and his commissioners were very busy for the past 2 years and in that time they accomplished quite a bit.  He says, "We raised almost a million in a half dollars to improve public space at the Bayfront, we've been involved in some work force affordable housing projects at the Grand Traverse Commons. We also passed a non-discrimination ordinance -- which is going to the polls tomorrow."
