Skilled Manufacturing of Traverse City has been collecting coats for families in need for five years at their "Coats For Kids" Coat Drive.  This year is no different, at several locations throughout the city and at the Skilled Manufacturing plant on Cass Road in Traverse City, people can donate their new, used or gently used coats. 

Last year they managed to distribute six hundred coats to community members throughout the area but Martie Warren, human resources manager of Skilled Manufacturing says the need continues to rise.

"I anticipate as always, every year the need to be great.  It seems to be getting greater every year that we do this."
