TRAVERSE CITY -- The fallout from a court ruling was evident Thursday as several marijuana collectives closed their doors in Traverse City.
This comes after the State Court of Appeals ruled dispensaries can no longer allow patients to sell to each other. And because this is a practice that most collectives use here in the northern Michigan area, it's causing a lot of confusion and fear.
Not only are collective owners fearful but so are medical marijuana patients who cannot get their medicine.
One patient, who did not want to give his name, tells 7&4 News, "I've been to three collectives and I’m kind of confused and don't know how I’m supposed to get my medicine. I am a little upset and think it’s ridiculous."
