OTSEGO CO., MI -- Michigan State Police in Otsego County report two horses were hit by a semi last night on I-75.

It happened close to exit 290 near Vanderbilt.

Police tell us the two horses were killed and the semi had significant damage.

The two horses reportedly escaped from a fenced field and the owner has been notified.
