BEAVER ISLAND -- A victim of a motorcycle accident on Beaver Island is recovering after the coast guard air-lifted him to Traverse City.

A coast guard crew from Air Station Traverse City responded to the scene around nine Wednesday night to assist the man who was suffering from severe leg trauma.

His name has not been released at this time.
