NORTHERN MICHIGAN -- Four post offices in Northern Michigan are preparing for their closure later this year.

The post office in Tower, a town three miles west of Onaway, is set to close on September 30th.

The decision to close this office was made because of its lack of business.

However, the decision was made to close the offices in our area before the postmaster released his list of 37-hundred potential post offices up for closure.

The post office in Hulbert, Idlewild, and Pointe Aux Pins will also close later this year.
