MASON CO. -- A double drowning investigation is underway in Mason County.

Rescue crews were called to the private pond on the 7100 block of S. Darr Road Monday evening.  Deputies recovered the bodies of the 69-year-old and 24-year-old men.  Both were from Scottville. 

The two men were fishing from their boat when the accident happened.  Officials aren't releasing any more details at this time.
