Are you a wine drinker? If so this upcoming week is your chance to taste some local wines and help homeless animals at the same time.

Ten Leelanau County wineries are teaming up next week for an event called "Pours for Paws".

Each business is featuring a special wine and will donate a percentage of proceeds from bottles sold to the Cherryland Humane Society.

“Pours for Paws” week runs from June 27th through July 4^th.  

Participating wineries are Gill's Pier, Chateau de Leelanau, L. Mawby, Cherry Republic in Glen Arbor, Black Star Farms of Suttons Bay, Willow, Good Harbor, Forty-five North, Good Neighbor Organics and Bel Lago.
