TRAVERSE CITY -- Traverse City is getting national recognition for being a place of fun and adventure.

National Geographic named Traverse City among its top 100 adventure towns.  Traverse City is the only area in Michigan given the recognition.

The areas bayside fun was highlighted in the article, along with nearby adventures such as the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and winery tours.
