TRAVERSE CITY, MI -- Traverse City school employees will dust off the sneakers and play basketball to raise money for charity.

TC West and TC Central teachers will play in the Hometown Showdown.  They'll hoop it up on May 2nd in the TC West gym to raise money for Pete's Place, a charity for teens in need.

Organizers say this game has created a bunch of hype, and the action starts at 7pm.  Ticket prices are $5, $3 if you have a student pass.

Come watch your favorite teachers take to the court, and have a good laugh.
