TRAVERSE CITY -- Blood donations are critical especially during times of emergency.  It's also important to be aware of the need for blood donations in the northern Michigan region.

To help celebrate Earth Day people can donate blood, the ultimate renewable resource, with Michigan Blood through April 22nd.

Here are the list of times for donating blood:

Traverse City Main Donor Center
2575 Aero Park Drive

April 21st - 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

April 22nd - 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
