EAST GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- UPDATE: The Amber Alert issued out of Kent County is cancelled.  The two missing children were found safe Tuesday morning.

The East Grand Rapids Department of Public Safety is investigating the abduction of two children.  They believe they may be in the Wyoming, MI area.

Vernon LeeTadd Williams is a three year old black male.  He's 3 feet tall, 32 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.  He  has a scar on the left side of his face from a fall.

He was last seen in the Wyoming, MI area Monday at 8:30 p.m. and is believed to be in extreme danger. Vernon was last seen wearing a brown seat suit with orange and white stripes.  

Also missing: Kamdyn Kairis Lee, a one year old black girl.  She is 2 feet tall and weighs 28 pounds.  She was last seen wearing teal sweat pants with a purple shirt.

The suspect's vehicle is a green Chrysler Sebring with the license number BZS9767.

The suspect is Vernon Lee Williams, 28.  He is a black man, 5'6" tall and 170 pounds.  he has a tattoo on his neck.
