TRAVERSE CITY -- Garage sale season is upon us again and Saturday folks kicked it off right by helping out a great cause.

Grizzly Gary’s Garage Sale started up Saturday morning at the Parsons Stulen Building in Traverse City.

All of the proceeds go to charities and will be spilt between Windfire, Habitat for Humanity, Women's Resource Center, and Michael's Place!

Garage Sale Organizer Bert Pittman says, "A lot of people need help right now, economic times we all know they're rough and there's plenty that need help...any opportunity any of us get to help somebody we should take it!"

The garage sale was organized by a Project Management Class at NMC.
