Community mourning loss of student

BUCKLEY -- A Wexford County community is mourning the loss of a student killed in a car crash in North Carolina.
Haley Baldinger, a senior at Buckley Community Schools was driving home from in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina when she crossed the center line and hit a commercial vehicle. The car then hit a dump truck head on.
According to the North Carolina State Highway patrol it happened around 8:30 a.m. Friday on U.S 1 about six miles south of Rockingham, North Carolina. Haley was killed.
Haley's sister Hannah, an 8th grader and their friend Page Gokey were also in the car.
Twelve counselors were at the school Monday helping students cope with the loss. Several counselors will also be available for students Tuesday.
Hannah Baldinger is recovering from serious injuries at a hospital in North Carolina. Paige Gokey is also recovering and in stable condition according to family members.
Funeral information is not known at this time.
