ONAWAY, MI -- The Michigan Department of Transportation will have an Open House to discuss a road construction project through downtown Onaway.

MDOT is planning to reconstruct 1.3 miles of M-68 from M-33 to Ninth Street through the city of Onaway beginning in early April. The project includes road reconstruction, new storm sewer, water main, curb and gutter, sidewalks, street enhancements and a flashing beacon upgrade.

This open house will allow area residents and business owners an opportunity to talk one-on-one with MDOT staff regarding this $4.2 million project.

The discussion will be at Onaway City Hall Chambers on Wednesday, March 23rd, from 5-7pm.
