GAYLORD, MI -- Secretary of State Ruth Johnson was in Gaylord Friday.

Johnson visited four offices in Northern Michigan, including Gaylord, West Branch, Grayling, and Charlevoix, to meet with staff and customers.

Johnson said she wanted to get feedback about ways to improve the Secretary of State Office operations.

"It's a huge advantage to visit every kind of branch because then I know what the challenges are, where the people are excelling, and I would like to say when I see such great service, I want to be able to share that with other branches, how they do it, what they do, using the best business practices," said Johnson.
