ISABELLA CO. -- The search is on for at least two people, accused of taken two commercial trucks and other items in Isabella County. One of the suspects was caught on surveillance camera and investigators are hoping someone can identify him.
The thefts took place in the northeast part of Isabella County on February 6.
The Sheriff's Office says a large amount of new copper tubing, copper joints and tools were taken.
Two pickups were also stolen. One of them was a 2001 Chevrolet 4x4 pickup, silver in color with a red Boss V-plow on the front and also had pipe storage racks. "Zinser Plumbing" is printed on the side of the pickup.
The other pickup that was stolen was a 2005 Ford 4x4, black in color.
The Isabella County Sheriff's Department has surveillance video that shows both stolen pickups pulling into a gas station in Loomis at 5:00 pm on February 6, 2011.
The driver of one of the stolen pickups is also on video paying for gas inside the station. It appears that both vehicles might have gotten onto U.S. 10 and headed east from the Loomis Road exit.
Anyone that is able to identify the suspect or has information on the crime is asked to contact the Isabella County Sheriff's Department at(989) 772-5911.
