Are you afraid you can't afford to have somebody do your taxes?

The Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency can help.

They're able to give free help to low-to-moderate income families, seniors, persons with disabilities, and limited-English proficiency individuals with their taxes.

Trained volunteers will prepare and electronically file federal and state income taxes.

Bring your social security, pension and interest statements, wage and earnings statements (Form W-2) from all employers, your 2010 tax return and other relevant information about income and expenses, as well as, social security cards and photo ID.

The free tax service is offered at locations throughout northwest lower Michigan.  Please call one of these Volunteer Tax Sites to make an appointment.
