MACKINAW CITY, MI -- The fun you can have with an outhouse.

In Mackinaw City, this is all part of their Winterfest, which is happening Saturday.

Teams were practicing today for their meaningful runs tomorrow.

As part of the Winterfest, teams will bring their four by four by six outhouses to Shepler's parking lot and try to beat the other guys in a race.

This is a race that has been happening in Mackinaw City for six years now.

"It's just a good time, and like you said, we race head-to-head, side-to-side, and like I said, it's a pretty good turnout, and pretty good time for everybody to come down and get their belly full of laughs and spend time in Mackinaw City," said Chairperson Greg Yoder.

Teams of four push the outhouse with one person inside, working for the best time.

Also part of the Winterfest this year, a chili cook-off, poker walk, and euchre tournament.

It all starts Saturday morning at eight.
