PETOSKEY, MI -- North Central Michigan College will offer a free lecture entitled “Springtime in Southern Norway: A Photo Journey through Norwegian Culture” on Tuesday, January 25 at noon in the Library on the Petoskey campus.

Cindy Mom, stewardship specialist at Little Traverse Conservancy, spent May 2010 in southern Norway as part of a Rotary International Group Study Exchange Program. By staying with host families and meeting with vocational peers on the job, Cindy got an inside perspective on the culture, food, family life and countryside of Norway.

This free program is sponsored by the Michigan Global Awareness Consortium, a group of community colleges dedicated to bringing global issues, international opportunities, and information to their campuses. For more information, call 231-348-6705.
