Stolen Guns Recovered, Arrest Made

Crawford County Sheriff Kirk Wakefield states that Deputies recovered several stolen handguns, high power rifles, ammunition, and other stolen items over the holiday weekend. The recovery culminated a break in investigation Deputies handled that occurred in South Branch Township last February. The items were recovered from a residence in Big Creek Township in Luzerne Michigan. The investigation resulted in the arrest of a 30-year-old Houghton Lake man on various felony charges, and will result in other warrants being issued for others involved. Suspects name will be released upon arraignment.
