How would like to spend the summer at the shore, living in your own lighthouse? According to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources you can. Right now the department is accepting applications for lighthouse keepers for the upcoming season at the Tawas Point Lighthouse. In exchange for living in the restored lighthouse keepers quarters, the successful applicant will lead tours to visitors.
