CRAWFORD CO. -- A Houghton Lake man is behind bars after a cache of stolen handguns, high powered rifles, knives and ammunition is discovered.

Crawford County Sheriff Kirk Wakefield said deputies found the stolen items over the holiday weekend at a home in Big Creek Township near Luzerne.

Sheriff Wakefield says the items were taken during a break-in that took place in South Branch Township last February.

Additional warrants are being issued for other suspects in the case.
