BIG RAPIDS --      A Big Rapids man faces charges of having child pornography. 
     Today Timothy Sims was arraigned in 77Th District Court on one count of possessing child sexually abusive matter.
     The charges stem from an ongoing investigation that was initiated by the Evart Police Department with the assistance of the Mecosta County Sheriffs Office and the Michigan State Police computer crimes unit.
     Sims remains in the Mecosta County Jail with a $100,000 cash bond pending further investigation.
