TRAVERSE CITY -- Right now less people have returned gifts than in years past according to the leader on duty at Target in Traverse City. Still, she expects an average return season. The leader on duty we spoke with, who asked to remain anonymous, said that returns are likely down because the day after Christmas fell on a Sunday.

She said some people take days or even weeks to return gift items, so it's really difficult to say whether less, more or about the same amount of gifts will be returned this year.
