Slip-sliding away…

The holiday rush…combined with practicing two dances… has the final days of Swingshift slip-sliding away.

The group dance is a hoot. It should offer quite the thrill for the big New Years Eve Finale.

For our solo dance, Laura and I will be reviving the Cha-cha. It’s the Dance we did in November. I fancy the Latin movement.

The final event is going to be extra fun for me….my parents will be in attendance for the first time. Over the past several years, we have greeted January 1st at the O’Connell abode in Pittsburgh. This year, we will be greeting the year 2011 in style!!

It has been a crazy December thus far. I feel like I almost have the dance routines down. With every practice, we get closer to where we need to be. Yet, the nearer our destination…the more it’s all slip-sliding away.
