HERSEY TWP. -- The Michigan State Police are investigating an early morning kidnapping of a young girl in Osceola County.

Investigators say the 6-year-old was taken from her home in Hersey Township Tuesday morning and returned before officers arrived at the home.

Police say the investigation led them to a home in Big Rapids, where they say the girl was sexually assaulted and involved in child pornography.

Two people were arrested in the case. 

Kayla Grillo, 20, of Hersey has been charged with Kidnapping-Child Enticement and is being held without bond. 

Stephen Graham-Wright, 19, of Big Rapids is charged with 8 felony counts.  He is in jail pending a $1,000,000 bond.
