TRAVERSE CITY, MI -- Forget trick-or-treat; thousands of people just want their power back.

Consumer energy says about 3,300 people were still without power Saturday due to the wind storms that moved through Northern Michigan earlier in the week.

Since Tuesday morning, more than 285,000 customers reported outages, Consumer Energy officials said.

Despite the overwhelming demand, the company says that all remaining customers are expected to have their power restored by midnight.
