I was just thinking about when I drove up here with my mom to interview for this job about 4 months ago...

It was so fun just sitting in our hotel room going over scripts... I can't think of the line, but one of the stories had a funny word and she kept repeating it jokingly... So when I read it in my anchor run-through the next morning I kept laughing and couldn't get through it! :)

Later, Greg took us to Mode's and we all stuffed our faces while she told us about a fisherman she met by the Holiday Inn who invited her out for a beer! Go mom!

Back to my first day... I got to meet almost everyone... Brody, Roxanne, Lauren, Jess, Marc, Diana, Bob... It was hard to remember everyone at first... Melissa, Alana, Joe.... Now I can't imagine forgetting any of them! I feel like we're a little family! We all get along pretty well! You all have your siblings that you bicker with once in awhile, but when it comes down to it, you love 'em!

Diana says the best part of her day, after shooting, editing, writing, etc,  is when she's sitting at the anchor desk telling you all the news of the day... I agree! When 6:30 rolls around, and everything is in place with the show... I get to sit down and talk about the news of the day and chat with some really interesting people. How lucky am I? And heck, who doesn't like hanging out with Mark Watkins and Jamie Kramer??

We have some cool guests coming up.... we'll hear about this brain fitness class at NMC, a competition that will force a girl to dye her hair pink for all of October for breat cancer awareness month, an amazing 19-year-old country singer and a little puppy named Morgan who was found bloody and injured.... he's up for adoption and will be on the show on Friday!!
