PRESQUE ISLE COUNTY -- Michigan State Police say the autopsy on 5-year-old Kory Dault shows no obvious signs of injuries or trauma to the body.

Police say while this does not necessarily rule out the possibility of foul play, investigators say Dault's death appears to be the result of a very tragic accident. 

Dault was found dead in a septic tank in Presque Isle County Saturday after he was reported missing by his family.

It could be several months before a formal autopsy report is provided to the MSP pending toxicological and microscopic examinations.  Investigators will continue to work with the family, as well as other resources to help determine the cause of death..
