CLARE COUNTY -- It's a modern day story of David and goliath...

A 97-year-old woman surrounded by a pack of dogs was saved by an unlikely hero.  The attack happened last week, but the event is still haunting Sophie Thomas of Clare County.

She was pulling weeds in her garden when she was surrounded by four pit bulls that she says lunged at her.  That's when a very unlikely hero stepped in to help.
