It was very ironic but just hours after posting my previous blog about my Marine son, and wondering where he is on his tour of duty, that I received a phone call from him.

It was 2:00 a.m. when my phone rang and I knew immediately it must be him.

I can't go into specifics about where he is but it is intense.  I was so ecstatic to hear his voice after a month with no word it was unbelievable.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of our military personnel as they serve our country, and as well to the families who support the efforts and many times have little information on what they are struggling with.
