BLAIR TWP. -- A Cadillac man is charged with Negligent Homicide stemming from a deadly car crash earlier this year in Grand Traverse County.

Park Harris turned himself in to deputies Friday morning.  He also faces a misdemeanor charge of driving on a restricted license outside of the set limits.

The accident happened June 16 on M-37 and Red School Road in Blair Township.   Officials say Harris didn't see a car waiting to turn left on Red School Road and rear ended the vehicle.  That pushed the car into the path of Richard Maddy of Mesick.

Maddy was killed in the crash.

A court date for a preliminary exam has to be scheduled within the next 11 days but it is not set yet.
