WEST BRANCH TOWNSHIP -- A Lake City man died in a car accident early Saturday morning in West Branch Township.  The Missaukee County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim as Timothy Loney.  He was 25.

The investigation has revealed that Loney was not wearing his seatbelt and alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.

A passenger in the car was not injured.
