MANISTEE -- The manager at West Shore Bank in Manistee says Monday afternoon an 83-year-old woman driving a Jeep Cherokee came crashing through the wall of the bank and into his office.

Daryl Pieczynski says he was on the phone in his office when he heard a loud noise and his book case came crashing towards him, followed by the jeep. He jumped out of the way just in time -- amazingly neither he nor the driver were hurt. He says the woman hit the gas instead of the break. Despite the crash, the bank is still open.
