TRAVERSE CITY -- Traverse City Commissioners vote unanimously to increase the size of swim areas in Grand Traverse Bay.

The area at Clinch Park beach area will be 500 feet long with a 50 foot buffer zone.   The volley ball court swim area will be 1,000 feet long, with no buffer zone.

Last year the zones were 400 feet long.
