Update: An Amber Alert for a missing 16-year-old girl who suffers from severe mental disabilities and her 15-month-old son has been canceled. The pair was found safe and sounds in Grand Rapids this evening.

The Kent County Sheriff's Office was investigating two endangered missing children.

Octavia Miracle Pendergrass, 16, suffers from a medical condition that poses a risk to the safety of herself and her son.  It is believed Octavia walked away carrying Rakeem, her 1-year-old child. 

The two were last seen at 11:30 a.m. at East Belt Line and N. Evergreen Rd. in Grand Rapids.

Octavia is a 16-year-old black girl.  She is 5'5", 160 pounds, brown eyes, black hair with a pierced lower left lip.  She was last seen wearing a gray hoody over a red shirt with a red bandanna in her hair.
