Students at a Traverse City Area Public School will soon be enjoying a generous classroom gift.

Cherry Knoll Elementary School has been awarded $5,000.00 by Traverse Bay Area Credit Union to purchase two ActivBoards for classrooms.

ActivBoards are interactive whiteboards that have been proven to increase student achievement across all subject areas.

"We are so grateful to Traverse Bay Area Credit Union for their support of student achievement,” commented Cherry Knoll Elementary School Principal, Chris Parker. “In these challenging economic times, the children and families of TCAPS’ students are fortunate to have a community partner like Traverse Bay Area Credit Union."
