Weekend "Camporee" in Grand Traverse County
The Boy Scouts of America is turning 100 years old- and in Northern Michigan hundreds of scouts are joining in on the party.
This weekend Boy Scouts from all over the Grand Traverse region are at the County Fairgrounds. Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Eagle Scouts are all together, along with den leaders and ScoutMasters.
They're working on all kinds of activities, everything from campfires and cooking, to Pinewood Derby races, learning how to build fires, and finding ways to help others.
Hundreds of them are also spending the night. The event runs through Sunday.
