MANTON -- A 52-year-old Manton man is behind bars, accused of stabbing another man several times.

The Michigan State Police were called to the stabbing just before 2:00 a.m. Sunday at the Shamrock Bar in Manton.

A 22-year-old was stabbed several times at the bar.  The victim and several witnesses identified the suspect as Daniel Raney, who ran from the area before police arrived.  Raney was later arrested at his home and was arraigned on charges Monday.

The victim was taken to Munson Medical Center and is listed in serious condition.
