Thousands of kids were on the hunt Saturday morning... looking for 20,000 Easter eggs.

It's the Easter Egg hunt in Traverse City, and this year marks the 25th annual event. The community egg hunt at the Grand Traverse Civic Center involves four different age groups - and the kids don't have to look too hard to find the 20,000 eggs scattered all over the lawn.

It seems to be well-organized chaos - but that's just the way these kids like it. With so many eggs there's no reason to go home empty handed.

And with a visit from the Easter bunny, the egg hunt is a great warm up for many kids who will have more egg-finding to do on Easter Sunday.
