BELLAIRE -- A snowmobile race that brought thousands of spectators to Schuss Mountain in Antrim County will not take place as planned.

This weekend would have been the sixth annual "Race The Face" event.

500 snowmobilers took part last year and up to 4,000 spectators watched.

Employees at the Shanty Creek Resort confirmed the race is cancelled due to lack of insurance coverage.
