INDIAN RIVER -- The McDonalds restaurant in Indian River is shut down after fire crews were called to an early morning grease fire.

It happened Thursday at the restaurant on Michigan 68. 

7 & 4 News is told the restaurant has severe water damage, and that the fire also shut down a gas station next door.  Work crews at the restaurant did not say when it would be back open for business.
