GRAND TRAVERSE CO. -- As part of the ongoing effort to get Grand Traverse County vaccinated to prevent H1N1 Influenza, the Grand Traverse County Health Department is hitting the streets and heading to several large employers and organizations to vaccinate staff, their family members, volunteers, and the general public.

"We realize that it's sometimes difficult to leave work to get vaccinated, so we are bringing the vaccine to them", stated Lori Wesolowski, Incident Commander for the ongoing H1N1 Vaccination campaign. "We've been to Turtle Creek Casino, the Grand Traverse Resort, the Goodwill Inn, Hagerty Insurance, Britten Banners and several TCAPS schools, including the bus garage, to provide the vaccine to employees and their family members". Wesolowski said they plan to continue their efforts through the end of March and beyond if necessary.
