ANTRIM COUNTY -- An Antrim County man is dead after officials say he crashed his snowmobile into trees.

It happened Saturday night on the man's property on Mt. Bliss Road.  Investigators say 54-year-old Steven Smigulec was snowmobiling when he crashed into trees, turning over his sled. Smigulec was found about four hours after the crash by family members.

He was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.  The Antrim County Sheriff says Smigulec was not wearing a helmet.
