An Ingham County man is behind bars in Cheboygan County, charged with Assault & Battery, Driving on a suspended license, and driving a stolen vehicle.

49-year-old Gregory Goedert of Leslie MI was pulled over during an assault investigation in Tuscarora Township.   State Police Troopers were informed that the vehicle he was driving was stolen out of Sevier County, Tennessee. Officials say the vehicle was a rental and was supposed to be returned in November.

Goedert is being held on $10,000 bond.
