The Board of Directors of the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA were presented with t-shirts and a $9,000 gift Tuesday.

The money was raised by the 2009 Downtown Traverse City Turkey Trot.  The 2nd Annual Turkey Trot was a 5-K “walk, run, and roll” through the downtown area of Traverse City during Thanksgiving Day 2009.

The event had nearly 1,000 participants and more than 75 volunteers.

Enid and Brian Hagerty, owners of EverywhereUGo and event chairpersons of the event presented the donations.
