The Cheboygan State Park may soon be expanding by nine acres.

The Michigan Natural Resources Commission Director is expected to authorize to start the process at their meeting on February 4.

The land is located along Seffern Road and would be purchased from the Little Traverse Conservancy for $38,000.  The money would come from the DNRE's Land Fund.
